Oops, looks like it got to Misha.
AND THIS IS WHY MISHA COLLINS IS BETTER THAN YOU. END OF STORY, GOODBYE, THE END.
I was kind of hoping this wouldn’t reach him but alas…true to Mishahood…he’s in good humor.

Yeah, yeah, we’re all sick of hearing about it, but I’ve just noticed that after countlessly attempting to state that they’re not against Castiel, the document that they’re harassing their followers with on Twitter, asking each one to retweet, basically says otherwise.
See here. “We believe Supernatural is the human story of Sam and Dean.” If you read that document, note how many times they stress the word human. Wow, that sounds really inclusive of other certain characters, you’re right! Golly gee, I can’t imagine how people are interpreting this bullshit embarrassment of a campaign as anything else.
“Supernatural is not really about devils and witches and shape shifters and leviathans. It’s about two brothers and their relationship.” Actually, Supernatural is about whatever the fuck each individual viewer wants to interpret it to be about, and considering monsters have been a part of the story since the first couple of minutes of episode 1, I’d personally say Supernatural is certainly just about monsters and mythology as much as it is about the two main characters. You don’t get to tell me what it’s about.
My issue is that these people are obnoxious and idiotic enough to contact the people who run the show claiming to be the majority. Judging by the laughable minimal positive response to the campaign, I think it’s safe to say that you’re not the majority. You have no way to prove that you are in any way, shape, or form the majority of fans. You do not speak for me. You do not speak for the hundreds and hundreds of people speaking out against this, so get off your high horses and quit acting as if you’re a bunch of fandom martyrs. No, you’re a couple of petty twats who think you have the right to literally DEMAND things from the writers.
Oh, wait, does spending all of your time screencapping and highlighting article comments somehow prove that you’re the majority? Because I read a lot of articles and episode reviews and I can definitely say that the pro-Cas/Team Free Will side of the fandom usually dominates article comment sections.
Don’t even get me started on you demanding that Sam and Dean spend even more time together when both actors have expressed their interest in spending time apart for the sake of their characters, especially Jared with wanting to spend time with his family. They know their characters better than you can ever claim to.
There has been other campaigns and petitions going around and I’m typically fine with them, but I have never, ever seen a campaign as embarrassing and self-entitled as this one. I’ve never seen a fan campaign claim that their opinions are superior than the rest the way this is. What a joke.
You make bawwwful posts about how bullied you guys are and tell the people giving negative feedback to back off. Did you ever stop to think that parading around claiming to be the majority of a massive group of fans with no proof or statistics and demanding that the show dismiss other opinions than your own is a form of bullying? How insulting. Also pretty amusing how this little campaign didn’t come around until after the season finale when Dean and Castiel ended up in Purgatory together. Where was it in the middle of the season where the show was, quite literally according to ratings, at its worst?
If you’re against this campaign or want to send positive feedback about the finale and excitement for season 8, you can leave comments on the CW website, Tweet your thoughts to @CW_Network and @TheJimMichaels, or write letters. The SPN Silent Majority has addresses nice and handy for us!
